Aromatherapy is the practice of using pure essential oils (highly concentrated
oil extracts of plants, shrubs, bushes, roots, seeds, trees, herbs, and flowers) to promote well-being and health
in the care of the skin and prevention of various diseases and conditions. The healing properties of these botanicals
produce a wide variety of beneficial effects in both health and beauty applications. It is a healing art that dates
back thousands of years. The Clinical research of today, shows that essential oils may even help create an environment
in which disease, bacteria, virus, fungus, etc., cannot live. Science is only now rediscovering these healing substances
that were used in ancient times.
An essential oil's effectiveness is due to its unique molecular structure and its ability to penetrate and be absorbed.
When inhaled, a true essential oil, contacts the nerves on the nasal cavity olfactory bulbs. When the molecules
hits these nerves it sets off a reaction that stimulates the brain into manufacturing endorphins, this in turn
leads to relaxation and mood changes.
Essential oils have a bio-electrical frequency. The frequency of Essential Oils is several times greater than the
frequency of herbs and food. Dr. Royal R. Rife, states, every disease has a frequency. However, a substance with
a higher frequency will destroy a disease of lower frequency. Clinical research shows that essential oils have
the highest frequency of any substance known to man, creating an environment in which disease, bacteria, viruses,
fungus, cannot live.
Aromatherapy oils can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. The oils can be diffused into the air, sniffed directly
from the bottle or hands, or it can be applied to the skin through massage or by taking a bath and adding a few
drops to the bath water. They can be taken orally, but should only be done so through the supervision of a health
care professional.
MANKIND'S FIRST MEDICINES
According to the translation of ancient manuscripts, these oils were being used thousands of years before the time
of Christ.
There are 188 references to oils in the Bible. Some precious oils, such as frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, hyssop,
and spikenard, were used for the anointing and healing of the sick.
Biblical prophets recognized the use of essential oils as a protection for their bodies against the ravages of
disease.
The three wise men brought the oils of Frankincense and Myrrh to the Christ child. Clinical research now shows
that Frankincense oil contains very high immuno- stimulating properties.
